When my first child was born, I took time off from corporate America to focus on family. However, I quickly found that I needed a creative outlet. I began working with metal and glass and eventually began offering my designs to friends and family. This was the foundation that would lead to the creation of Silver Earth Designs.
Established in 2008 as the original Silver Earth Designs jewelry studio, I offer unique handcrafted designer jewelry. Each design is inspired by nature and crafted using traditional and modern metal smithing techniques such as Chasing, Repousse’, Fusing, and Fold Form. Designs feature Argentium, Sterling, fine silver and gold necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and pendants accented by genuine gemstones, and other mixed media. To add eclectic flair, I use organic textures and rich patinas. From Mokume Gane to Keum Boo, I love working with interesting metal.
While it would be easy for me to focus solely on one style or “look”, I prefer to offer a diverse collection that appeals to individual styles. I’ve always liked coloring outside the lines, and Silver Earth Designs gives me the opportunity to explore beyond one particular style.
I truly love what I do. From first visualizing the design to building one-of-a-kind custom pieces, each design becomes a personal, beloved creation born from the heart. It is my hope that those who appreciate my designs enjoy wearing them as much as I love creating them.
