One of our signature offerings is custom jewelry design. Whether you’re commemorating a special moment, gifting to someone you love, or dreaming up a piece that reflects your style and story, we’ll guide you through a collaborative process to bring your vision to life.

You’ll have the opportunity to explore different shapes, finishes, and materials, and we’ll communicate throughout the journey to ensure the final result is exactly what you envisioned.
Creating a custom piece with Silver Earth Designs is a collaborative experience—one rooted in intention, artistry, and care. Whether you’re designing a meaningful gift or marking a personal milestone, we’re here to guide you at every step.

Initial Consultation

We begin with an initial consultation to better understand your inspiration and goals. This is typically done through a video call to ensure we have clear communication to best support your needs. The consultation usually takes 15-30 minutes to complete.

Design & Drafting

Next, we will create an initial design concept tailored to your vision. You’ll have a chance to review and request 1-2 round of revisions to ensure it’s aligned with your expectations. This phase typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending upon the complexity of the design.

Approval & Deposit

Once the final design is approved for production, you’ll receive a custom order form to sign, along with an invoice for a 20% deposit. This deposit secures your place in our production queue and is applied to the final cost of the piece. The initial deposit is non-refundable.

Fabrication

With approval and initial deposit received, work begins. Each piece is made by hand in our studio using high-quality materials, such as sterling silver, and time-honored techniques. Please allow 2–4 weeks for fabrication, depending upon the complexity of the design.

Finalization

Final payment is due upon completion. Once processed, your order is carefully packaged and shipped. We offer free domestic shipping on all custom orders. Final delivery usually occurs within 4–6 weeks from the start of the process. Complex designs may take longer.

Refund & Return Policy

We want you to love your custom piece. If for any reason you need to return it, we offer a 15-day return window from the date of delivery. Please note that the 20% deposit to commission new work is non-refundable, as it covers design time and materials.
